Company Description

HJ Promotions is an International producing and promotion company based in the heart of Essex. We produce & promote touring theatre & arena shows in the UK & Europe. 

We have over 350 venues across the UK & Europe that we program our touring shows into. We have a great relationship with theatre, arenas, stadiums & fields for outdoor festivals.


At HJ Promotions we have our own dedicated PR & Marketing team who deliver a wide range of services from Social Media marketing to print marketing delivering leaflets to our venues.

​All of our shows have their own website, social media accounts & dedicated marketing assistant who looks after the accounts. We also work with the venues marketing team to ensure that everyone knows about our shows and when shows will be visiting their local venues.

We are looking for a Show Bookings Executive, working closely with the Directors you will play an active role in supporting our touring show bookings including Theatre Show Bookings, Raising Contracts, Artist Liaison and Administration.Reports to: DirectorHead Office Location: Unit 12, Brocks Business Park, Hodgson Way, Wickford, Essex, SS11 8YNHours: 20hrs minimum (Part Time Role)
Job Responsibilities
Key Areas of Responsibility·      Contribute towards booking our touring theatre shows into theatres and arenas across the UK & Europe. You will assist in contacting venues and booking shows in.·      Assist in the creation of new theatre shows working with our producers.·      Co-ordinate with our theatres in putting our shows on sale by working with our marketing team to deliver in the time frame.·      Assist with social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter by implementing content schedules.·      Assist with administration work.Experience & Skills Required·      Knowledge of the creative process from the initial brief to the final delivery.·      Ability to liaise with theatre programmers·      Knowledge of web content management systems and email software.·      Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook.·      Access to a Mac or Windows Computer and Internet Access for Remote Working. Competencies·      Ability to confidently administer and manage multiple projects with good prioritisation skills working to deadlines.·      A collaborative creative thinker that can work as part of a team.·      Interest in developing projects which can be utilised to positive effect.
